Leverage on RPA and IA to increase operational efficiency

Context

The Invest business line in a large Belgian Bank with an international presence had ambitious goals with regards to increasing efficiency of its operations and reducing the FTE required to execute operational tasks. Within a larger portfolio of simplification and efficiency projects, the primary lever to achieve these goals was on the application of RPA and AI technologies.

DynaFin's Strategic Intervention

The bank has enlisted the expertise of DynaFin to establish and deliver an automation roadmap within the Invest business line

Identification of automation opportunities based on technical and business criteria in the Invest domain

Prioritize opportunities and deliver automation roadmap with senior business stakeholders

Achieve an efficient and sustainable collaboration

Between business stakeholders within the Invest domain, the robotics automation engineers, AI developers and IT whilst delivering a challenging automation roadmap

End to end responsibility to deliver automation projects

Focus on delivering detailed and testable business documentation per individual or coaching the employees of the client to do so

Follow up on automations after delivery to production

Identify and resolve recurring problems

Outcome

Thanks to DynaFin's intervention, over a period of less than two years, more than 20 automation projects using RPA technology or a mix of RPA and AI technologies such as OCR and NLP were delivered resulting in an increase in operational efficiency and reduction of FTE, contributing to the goals of the wider program
