This exciting opportunity is aimed at those who wish to share their extensive experience in transfer administration (TA) and/or fund accounting, and are eager to learn more in these areas. You will have the chance to join a recently established oversight team.
The main UCI administration functions will be outsourced to two partners. You will be responsible for overseeing fund administration, including fund accounting and NAV, as well as the roles of registrar, paying agent, and TA. You will ensure the quality of these outsourced tasks through monitoring based on dashboards, procedures, and daily controls. You will be responsible for final validations and controls, including documenting your decisions. The scope includes both UCITS and AIFs.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth oversight of TA and fund accounting processes, ensuring quality through control elements, error logs, and monitoring KPIs.
- Approve NAV figures by performing controls on NAV calculations done by other entities and escalating issues if necessary.
- Complete final reporting tasks after receiving information from other entities.
- Oversee outsourced central administration functions on a daily/regular basis, including maintaining due diligence documentation and conducting risk analyses.
- Maintain and update the outsourcing register, design KPI targets, and ensure compliance with CSSF regulations.
- Provide essential information on operations, including NAV errors, serious incidents, and findings from revisors, to ensure the client has all necessary information for final responsibility to the CSSF.
- Actively participate in analyzing urgent issues, making solution-oriented recommendations while respecting procedures and regulations.
- Engage in regular meetings and assessments of delegate KPIs to improve oversight processes.

- Complete ownership of problem resolution.

- Cooperative and professional attitude to resolve issues with business partners.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of operational processes.
- Clear reasoning.
- Significant professional experience (3-8 years) in TA and/or fund accounting. A relevant university degree is a plus.
- Good knowledge of computer-based tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Practical experience with other programs (e.g., SAS, Business Objects) is a plus.
- Communication in English with key stakeholders across Europe.
